My Hero Academia: Toga Honors Twice's Memory With a Sad Girl's Parade

In My Hero Academia Chapter 341, Todoroki Toya gives Toga Himiko an unexpected gift, one that might decide the war in the villains' favor.

For a while now, My Hero Academia has been focused on the heroes and their preparations for the oncoming war. However, the latest chapter turned this trend on its head by providing an update on Toga Himiko and the other League of Villains' members. They've been busy with their own preparations and as it stands, may have regained the most powerful weapon that used to be in their arsenal.

The entire League of Villains was shaken by Twice's death but none more so than Toga. Even within the League, the two shared an extraordinarily close bond. They joked together and were given assignments together. As eccentric as both of them are, neither gave the other any grief about it nor poked fun at the issues the other struggled with. When Twice died, Toga lost the one person who had shown her the most unconditional love. Twice accepted her as she was, and with him gone, Toga was lonelier than ever.

The loss of her best friend must've made Toga's visit to her childhood home that much harder. She returned to find it defaced. There was graffiti drawn on every available space, along with messages of abuse aimed at her. Messages such as "Killer", "Demon, and "Toga the Terrible" were left by those who'd come to know her story after Toga ran away from home. As she explored her childhood home, Toga reminisced about a recurring dream she'd been having.

In the dream, she described a red sparrow tap dancing on her stomach. This continued for a while until the sparrow suddenly started to rip into her stomach. It keeps tearing away until it makes a hole big enough to enter, which it finally does. Once inside, it continued its dance, maiming Toga and causing her to be stained all over by her own blood. To anyone else, that would have been a nightmare but Toga described it as a very pleasant dream even though it might be foreshadowing her future death at Hawks' hands.

After reliving her dream, Toga finally noticed that her fellow League member, Todoroki Toya, followed her on her exhibition. After expressing surprise that a "nutjob" like her had enough sentimentality to visit her childhood home, he burned the place down and revealed a gift for Toga. Apparently, right after Twice's death, he stole a blood sample from his body. Knowing how Toga's Transform Quirk had awoken, Toya deduced that she'd be able to use Twice's Double Quirk since she loved him.

Toga seemed intent on using Twice's blood the way Toya suggested and for good reason. An overwhelming number of doubles would be the perfect advantage the villains need over the better-organized heroes. Also, using her best friend's abilities to strike a fatal blow to the heroes would also be the perfect revenge for Toga and serve as posthumous redemption for Twice. During his days at the League, he'd continually lamented the fact that he was a constant liability to the team and always brought trouble to their doorstep. A preemptive first strike against the heroes would be exactly the kind of task Twice would relish undertaking to prove his worth to the League. Toga’s “Sad Girl Parade”, if it happens, would bring their relationship full circle.
